Lead Pastor - Dwayne Buhler



Dwayne and Rhonda Buhler came to Hazelglen in August, 2014. They studied at Canadian Bible College (Regina, SK) and Dwayne graduated from Regent College in Vancouver, BC. They served 15 years as missionaries with the C&MA in Brazil and Mexico, before returning to Canada in 2004. Dwayne and Rhonda enjoy a good cup of coffee, a sizzling Brazilian bar-b-que and long walks. Dwayne’s focus as he speaks and writes is to teach the Word of God, mentor leaders of the next generation and encourage people of all ages to live the words of Jesus:

As the Father has sent me, I am sending you. (John 20:21)

Church Administrator - Deborah Rochon


Deborah joined the staff as Church Administrator in July 2017. She is married to Trevor, and they have 2 children.  Deborah has been a part of the congregation for a number of years, and when the administrator roll opened it was time to take a step of faith. Deborah enjoys video games, camping, and chasing her kids around.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)

Bookkeeper - Joanne Snyder

 
Joanne joined the Hazelglen staff as bookkeeper in June 2015 after attending the church for 1 1/2 years. She and her husband, Reg, are self-employed and love to help businesses and charities with all things financial and boring (well, that's what their kids say anyway! )  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, nutrition, long walks, ballroom dancing and spending time with her 3 cool kids and 1 amazingly cool hubby.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (2 Cor 5:17)

Custodian - Rose Morehouse

 

Rose and her husband Dave have been attending Hazelglen for 3 years  Rose have owned/operated her cleaning business for almost 20 years. When Rose was told they were looking for someone to take care of the church was was happy to be able to serve the Lord in this manner.  "The church is God's house we must take care of it well."

As for me and my household we will serve the Lord (Joshua 24:15)


Intern - Aaron Chan

 
Aaron began interning at Hazelglen in August 2017.  Aaron is a student in his final year at Emmanuel Bible College, pursuing a Bachelor of Theology. While he has lived in Waterloo for most of his life thus far, he also lived in the Boston area for 8 years. Aaron enjoys fellowship, discussing Scripture, and reading.
 
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. (1 Cor 10:31 ESV)
